The Jolly Duke, freeze marked J0LY (not stolen)

16.3 bay TB gelding, freeze marked J0LY, D.O.B. 1995. Has anyone any information on this gelding? He was sold from North Yorkshire in about 2003 to Essex direction, and I believe he was quickly sold on. Any news, recent or otherwise, good or bad would be really appreciated. He was not an easy horse having had a troubled start as a steeplechaser but was most loved and the sale was deeply regretted.

Have you tried asking Weatherbys if they have up to date on him ?

Many thanks to all who helped me with my quest to find Jolly. At last I have traced him - he eventually found an owner who could care for him and has had many happy years. A photo has been sent to me and he looks amazing.

So thrilled!
