A friends daughter has just been given him to ride as he's been in a field for the past year or so doing nothing (and friends mum is friends with his owner). I think he was JA and just wondered if anybody had heard of him/knew him?

Heard of him but no more than that. Good name though! Hope she gets on well with him.

oh she is! she has a lovely homebred welsh D at the moment who's coming on quite well but is not a natural jumper so it's nice or her to get to jump something that really knows what it's doing. he looks like great fun!
