Can you believe it? He actually made it all the way there on the lorry without killing himself or his travelling companion. Then he had a bit of a knobberish moment when he decided the jumps were terrifying and it took me five minutes to get up the top of the ring. Then he worked out what was going on and he was fine.

Then, and I'm scared to admit this, I had a knobber moment and forgot to jump a jump and got us eliminated. Hahahah.

Thought I'd let you all know that he can be good sometimes.

Anyway, here he is being good (tiny fences but it was our first attempt and only his second time ever off the yard since he was backed 3 odd years ago)

Ah, your knobber looks like he's having a great time ! And soooo handsome :)

My knobber is actually being a little less knobberish, and his loose schooling is coming on a treat - very few bronco sessions now, and the rearing has stopped - HURRAH !!! :D

Do you think they found out about "that" thread ?

I need to join the 'I own a knobber group'! as Maisie has been such a knobber-ess the past few days! Pfft mares!
 
He is indeed a handsome knobber. And talented if you can persuade him to behave!

And S'sM I hope they did somehow catch wind of 'that' thread and the improvement in behaviour continues until all the knobber horses become good, well behaved horses!

I also have a knobber-ess pony, who we took out this weekend for the third time ever and was considerably better behaved :D

Maybe there's hope for us yet. We're out on Saturday again so perhaps we can not get eliminated this time. It is dressage so I really hope we don't :D
 
You say he's a knobber but he looks lovely in that picture. Not very knobbery to me! :D

We've all been there with stupid eliminations, well done. Perhaps knobber pony needs a sat nav? :)

p.s I've just had to add 'knobber' to the dictionary on my browser as it annoys me when it's underlined red. :p
 
Knobber jockey definitely needs a sat nav. Or to learn to count. Either way :p

And to learn to jump from canter ( I did try but we were too busy looking at things!) so we don't have 'odd' legs all the time. Maybe next time we'll find third gear.
 
If you could find out a way to attach a sat nav to his bridle so the screen faces you, you would make a fortune. Or one that hangs down in front of the hat. :D

Well it must be knobbers ' do a first show day ' as the ginger irish knobber had his first show too . I have to say i've got to eat my words as the irish knob behaved impecably , even in gale force winds ( you think i'm joking , not ) he even enjoyed the practice fence next to the local hound pack getting ready for their parade! The only knob of the day was me as i hadn't realized that i'd failed to press record on the camera :eek:, but here's a still of eva about to take him into his first uaff round.:)

I feel a new clique coming on, something like 'I own a knobber of a horse clique'

Obviously someone better with words is probably better at coming up with the name. :D
 
Excellent work for knobbers all round!

My knobber is finally learning 'stand'. Halted several times (when asked!) in schooling today. Sounds like nothing but is great for us. However, had knobber moments in canter yesterday bucking on hack and kicking out at my aids today in school. But overall, improvement in knobberness.

"Nothing like a knobber" for the clique?! :D
 
This truly is incredible - the knobbers have been whispering to each other :eek: Maybe they are setting us up for the punchline, when at the same time on the same day...................knobbers unite...:D

Hope you're wrong shysmum... hope they've not set up a Knobber-Knetwork for Kommunication. We could all be in for an awful day sometime soon! Everyone be on knobber high alert. Do not let your knobber lull you into a false sense of security :D
 
I'm at Long Drove on Saturday for my sins. Haven't schooled for weeks or looked at the tests or anything yet. Otherwise don't know where we're next going but I'll look out for you!
 
Are you really? How exciting. I'm doing the prelim tests so if you see me come and say hello. I'll be the one on the badly behaved bay horse spinning round doing half rears!
 
yep I'm doing prelim 7. Will try say hello I'm the one that may have to hack home if someone wont play games but apart from that we should be ok.
