Don't know what is wrong with my knobber but he is being decidedly un-knobberish. This was his second attempt at this jumping business ( first was in May) and bless him if he didn't jump two clear rounds. The first was in trot but we had canter in the second (tiny jumps 2 foot first round and only 2'3'' -2'6'' in the second) but he was a very good boy in terms of standing around and standing on the lorry which is what actually matters when you own a knobber. And he was fourth which I wasn't expecting and had to be legged up in a hurry with the zips on my boots down and my girth undone to get my rosette.

Second class we tipped the first and were clear after that ( I knew we would, it was tiny and rustic and basic and I just knew he wasn't going to give it any respect!) so all in all he was very good.

I am confused and am also living in constant dread that when the knobber like behaviour returns it'll be 100x worse as he will have to make up for lost time!

Oh damn, we were in the village and would have come and clapped and embarrassed you had I thought of it earlier!

Well done BH - and Jess of course!

Jeez, Jesstickle, how to give me a heart attack with the first part of your title  My word, I had the shivers kicking in till I saw the second part.

Well done Brown Horse :) Have you had someone schooling him over fences for you?! ;);):D:D

Well Puppy, I did have this practically pro rider come and ride him recently. That must be what did it :D

j_t I nearly PM'd you yesterday as I thought you might be brining your big mare but I'm glad I didn't now! I had enough embarrassment from K constantly shouting at me not to forget the course ( I'm sure you remember how badly I did at remembering last time!) without you joining in!

There was quite a nice photo but I didn't buy it on the spot as wanted to deliberate about it and it turns out the photographer is the sort you have to email for proofs so can't share a link to them. Boo. It was over one of the more tiddly fences so wasn't sure if it was worth a tenner or not.
