I'm going to use the LACS exemption. First dreamed up on this website.

It goes like this, just because the law SAYS something is illegal, it doesn't mean that it is.

Just because the Hunting Act says that flushing out with more than two dogs is against the law it doesn't make it illegal.

There's something in the Act about pursuing wild mammals with dogs. We've got deer acroos the valley at the moment and I'm going to take my four dogs and chase them.

Yes I know the law defines that as illegal hunting but that doesn't mean it's against the law or anything like that.

Who gives a [****] anyway?

If you hunt with dogs you commit an offence unless you can satisfy one of the exemptions in the Act.

I'd agree with you there Karl. If people think the law is ridiculous they should feel free to break it. They are perfectly within their rights. It's quite right that in such case the police allow them to break the law at will.

I haven't seen anything from the police which says they think the law is ridiculous. Even if they did, it's not up to them to decide which laws should or shouldn't exist.

I'm glad you understand that the police should use their discretion with harmless fools like you.
