The Laminitis Clinic

I rang the Laminitis Trust last year, got the number off the internet. It did take a few phone calls before I got through and they did apologise and said they were very busy.

I started a thread like this in NL, I couldn't get through on and off for a few months. Eventually got through few weeks back and she just told me they were very busy so keep trying.

Anything we can help with ?

I rang them last year - I didn't have any bother getting through, but I thought their advice was incredibly narrow-minded, and ended up putting the phone down again very quickly. They said that my mare, who had suffered post-operative laminitis, would 'never be able to be without shoes again'. She had been barefoot for 8 years, and has been barefoot and sound since just after that phonecall.

I wouldn't waste your money and time. Their advice is mainly based around ignoring your vet and feeding their supplements.

alsiola once again I agree with you.

If any one has the time and the patience, it is always worth finding out who owns what and where the money goes. Changes one's perspective a bit. Or at least it does for me.

I agree, I went there 3 years ago as a barefoot trimmer, hoping to learn something and ended up chewing my fists, as they knew (or offered) a lot less than I already know.
