Following a show of support from MEPs across Europe, the European Parliament has granted an extension on Written Declaration 54/2009, calling for a review of the legislation governing the long distance transport of horses to slaughter.
This means we need your help, NOW!
We need to get 93 more MEP signatures in support of the Declaration by Thursday 11th February in order to achieve a review of policy.
Please get in touch with your MEPs, either by email, telephone or even on social networking sites asking for their support. They need to know their constituents' feelings before they act.
If you have friends and family in Europe, please encourage them to do the same - there are many MEPs that haven't signed in mainland Europe.
