Well i went down to the meet (on foot) today as a few friends were down there, and got convinced into going home tacking up the little hoss and attempting to join them.
So off i went after they'd left the meet, got changed shot down the yard threw his tack on (luckily he went to bed clean) stuck the other horses out. Walked him down to the mounting block (by which point i could hear the hounds behind the yard) had a quick check over to find that somwhere between the yard and the mounting block he'd managed to twist a back shoe round and it was only attached on one side.
Perhaps it wasn't meant to be but i'd like'd to of seen what he'd of done, especially as we were on home land so if it went wrong it would of been a 2 minute walk. But hey-ho guess we'll have to wait til next season! Photo of him looking smart before he mangled his shoe!
