Today Charlies Sarcoid has finally come off! The vet banded it about 4 weeks ago, it almost died off but the band wasnt tight enough so it was still being fed by an artery so my vet came back last tuesday and tied it off. She said to give it upto 2 weeks to come off but today after Charlies extravagant running/bucking around the field he came in and it come off!
I've put the pics in start order, the first one was a couple of hours after she banded it so still a bit purple, they then look worse as the band rubbed the skin behind and bled onto the sarcoid but then is the finale of todays sarcoid less leg! I can finally start to work him once the skin has healed a little more!
