The little bugger ran off tonight!!!

Took the sec D over the XC feild this evening, did a bit of schooling in the long grass, his lordship copped the hump because i wouldn't let him eat, locked his neck and pi$$ed off back up the hill - it was actually very nice to get the great idle lump so forward going, so i kicked the bugger on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (made him walk round nicely afterwards though!!) BUT how strange is it that i don't give much worry to him doing that in a 50 acres field, but I CANNOT ride in a school??

lol there was a school horse who I had to throw the rule book out on, he bolted, others pulled him up, I booted him on for the next 5 mins and he didn't do it again. That and I'd start the lesson with a million walk to canter transitions to really rev him up! Unfortunatly that would rev up the others.... lol but at least I got him forward!
