Kept the bandages on last night .... thought they would have been laying in a pile but no they are still on .


Had to put support bandages on missy for those who dont know about her, she sprained her tendon the other night , and is on box rest for 10 days and bute.


The minx was nibbling at them last night when i left her, Had to keep the mineral lick in with her most of the night (yo took it out before she went to bed) ... and put a few apples in her bucket ... Going to make up a fruit and veg string for her today and hang it up for her .

God ive never come across a yearling that nibbles so bloody much, putting on her rug she chews the surcingles, she tries to chew the bit , she chews my coat grrr , she chews the plastic handle on the water bucket , she chews my scarf , she chews leadropes , she chews anything basically ... DID I GET A DOG ?????

That's what babies do LOL! I'd be more concerned at her age if she didn't do baby stuff! Bit like human babies use their mouths to feel and taste different things so do baby horses. Our 6yr old mare still does this and I love to watch her, not distructful but just curious and full of fun! It's great fun to watch and most grow out of it..

Sounds like you will have great fun box rest for 10 days.. It's all worry, once these days are over you have the flying up the fields bucking and spinning to watch with bated breath.... thinking PLEASE DON'T SPRAIN THAT LEG AGAIN!! Fun days ahead me thinks!
