The Metabolic Horse - Yahoo Group query

I own a newly diagnosed laminitic pony and have applied to join this group twice and had no response. When I log in with Facebook is states Membership Approval Pending but nothing happens.

Does anyone know if I am doing something wrong? Or is there usually a lengthy (as in weeks) delay in being accepted (assuming they do accept me!!)

Try the laminitis site instead Suby2, it has all the info and a FB forum you can join for others help, been a massive help to me with my PPID (cushings) horse

This is a very knowledgeable and excellent group on Facebook "Equine Metabolic Syndrome (EMS), PPID (Cushing’s) and Laminitis UK Group". There are 800 members now so what you will find if you join this is you will be asked to create a diary on The Laminitis Site website so that they can see all your horse's history and give appropriate advice based on that.
