Well after 3 months of not being able to ride my Horse (lamesness issues) I was finally able to get back on board Saturday.
I had Karen from West Essex Saddlery, who was really good may I add! I was really worried Ruby would misbehave, as she has only been walked in hand. I wanted to lunge in the morning, but the menage had frozen over.
Well I don't know what I was so worried for. Ruby was so well behaved (if a little lazy ) I settled on a second hand Simmons brown leather saddle. It was so comfy and Ruby seemed to like it too. The saddler took it back with her to take a little stuffing out of the front (it was a tinsy bit too low on withers) I will be getting it back on Saturday.
One hiccup, As I was riding back to the stable, a bird flew out of a tree and Ruby jumped sideways, twice but it was very easy to sit, in my new saddle
No pictures, But will get one on Saturday!
