The Most Brilliant Day :D

what a fantastic day.

got up early this morning to see the boys and muck out and then went to my instructors yard for the day.

her portugese instructor is over doing a dressage masterclass/clinc which finished today and i spent the whole day there today watching and listening and i learnt a lot and it gave me back my urge, desire and need to ride that i lost about 2 months ago.

i left at about 6 went home and rode Teddy well, my god he went the best he'd ever gone, so light in my hand, so willing and just so available for me. was so so thrilled and to cap it off, ive had him one month today which made it a bit more special.

i then went to play with marley in the field, got slobbered all over, mugged for treats and followed around while i poo picked and moved my electric fence to strip graze my field. i do love my fat ginger boy wouldnt change him and his oddities for the world.

so yes an absolutely brilliant day, couldnt have asked for better. i love both my boys so so much they are so special.

my new goal for Ted is to get him ready for George's (portugese trainer) next visit/clinic/masterclass in August and to do 2 out of the 4 days.

ive found my riding legs again

The clinic sounds like a great idea! If theres space I'd definitly go for it! It's amazing how spending the day watching other people ride etc just leaves you dying to get on and really ride

Fabulous, I'm so pleased everything is clicking!!

teddy is a lovely boy and you are going to have soooo much fun with him!! And well Marley is just like an overgrown dog!! Just like H was at the show - following round and giving cuddles.

Keep it up and when you come back in August come and see me!!! Hopefully I will have a fixed horse!!
