Yes I am in too...my lad has a hoof abbscess that will not erupt - vet came yesterday to try and find it but no joy - she thinks it is going to track up through the coronet band.
Whilst there she also mentioned that he may have mild laminitis as both front digitals are up, as I had found previously and she is not sure whether it is hust weight bearing problems because of the abscess or food related. So I am doing all the necessary upon vets advice and hoping and praying the abscess at least appears to relieve someof the discomfort for him...then I have a major re-think on his future management - even though the vet thought I was doing everything right already - ridden every day, hay only diet, restricted grazing - same eaten down paddock since last winter...no treats etc etc
