So, after months of searching nearly giving up, going out of budget, time wasters and so on. We (my Mum and I) have finally bought our first horse! I'm needing to bring her back into work and she could do with a good groom, but she is just gorgeous! She has the most amazing temperament and gives lots of hugs + kisses! Shes 9yo around 14.2ish and middle/lightweight cob. Shes coming home on Wednesday, I don't know who's more exited me or my mum, need name ideas as well. So here are some pics

I'm rubbish at the name game - but the first that sprang to mind from the pics was Milly. Don't know why!

Her name atm is Dixie, I sort of like it but I don't know. Planning on bring her back to work, then hacking, schooling and a bit of jumping. I might go to some shows in the summer.

Ooh lovely! Hope you have great fun with her. I am not a fan of changing horses' names as feel it must be confusing for them - but if you feel you have to change it can you have something that sounds very similar eg Pixie? So she gets less confused. Or I might just be raving!!

I was gonna say the same as Tobiano - but then I thought Dixie is more characterful than Pixie (IMHO)
Maybe change to something you could make the nickname rhyme for her (Flicker nickname Flicksy) or something lol. Told you I was rubbish at names!
Where I am they tend not to use names much with animals (apart from dogs) so when I buy I'm prob gonna be here asking for suggestions like you lol!
