the reason why i am asking is that there is a one day event that i am thinking of going to (mickey has never done one and i don't want to ruin his confidence) and i was wondering is the course um well scary, not inviting, not nice ground, to hard for a pony that hasn't got much confidence, and not an easy ride?

but if this is cheating or something can you tell me as i dont want to cheat!

or if you have got any pictures that would be great!

i was just wondering weather to go or not!?!

If it is the mini ODE for the Berkeley Riding Club then it is perfect for babies. The jumps are made well just mini, it is just around a couple of huge fields.
I took Dotty there 2 years ago, she had never seen xc jumps only small coloured poles, we just took our time and she went clear xc and sj (think its only 2ft-2ft6). Luckily the xc isnt timed.
I think its gets a lot of entries so you need to enter sooner rather than later.

There's an area trials course at West Littleton and if that's the course then you may find it rather challenging (starts at 2ft 9). Which ODE event is it, cause there are a couple coming up and they do vary.
