Every winter I struggle with this so would like your suggestions.
I need a pair of boots that are:
Fully waterproof
Tough and able to withstand standing in sand arenas/mud etc without disintegrating within 3 months.
Safe to ride in.
Warm enough to stand around in for hours without frostbite setting in.
Flexible enough to drive in so not too clumpy.
If short boots they need to fit under chaps.
Ideally easy to care for.

Dont mind paying a decent price if they do all of the above and last a reasonable length of time!.

Dont want much do I..................? Suggestions please!.
Thanks.

Personally the boots I have found that tick all of these boxes are the Tuffa Suffolk boots. I'm just starting my 2nd winter in them but wore them nearly all summer too! They are comfy, have sheepskin lining so warm and fabulous to ride in.

Ditto Ariat Grasmeres

Not official riding boots, but the Toggi lady wanderer welly boot is really good. Have had mine over a year now. They're warm and comfortable and I can drive in them ok. They also have a sole thats suitable for riding in

May not be what you're looking for of course.

I'm in love with my Ariat Mudbusters. The only box they don't truely tick is driving in them, it's duable but not that easy.

the mountain horse boots are really snug...likewise the toggi boots mentioned above, I have to admit im disapointed with my ariats they have disintergrated in 6 months! although i admit they havnt been clean since i got them!

One item I wouldn't be without are my Mountain Horse Boots. I think I may die in them. They are comfy enough to wear all day. They are great for riding in. Hose down, but ditto yes guilty of never cleaning them. They are pretty pricey but worth it. There are some high riders on e-bay at the minute in most sizes for £80. I would buy them a size bigger though. I am a size 7 in everything but an 8 in these.
