Today I decided to drag Betsy and OH to a local agricultural show. All was going very well, B didn't bat an eyelid at the horses and met so many dogs that she even gave up the 'oh look how cute I am when I roll around on my back infront of you!' routine. So I was a very proud mummy.
We were mooching along the ringside when I felt a little tug on the lead and saw that madam had decided to do a poop. No problem as I had poop bags in my handbag..... then realised my handbag was still in the car! (Div!)
I stood guard behind miss B and her giant poop to stop and kiddies running into it and OH swiftly ran off to a tradestand to ger a carrier bag (tradestands were 10m away - MAX). Within 20 seconds of my OH walking away a man appeared next to me and thrusted a poop bag into my hand and told me in a very patronising manor that I was a bad dog owner and that 'Children' like me should never be left in charge of a dog because we have no idea how to look after one!!!!!
I am 22 next month. I am ashamed to say that I flipped. I pointed out to him my age and the fact that I was wearing a University hoody - indicating i am at least 18, I also asked him to take a look at my dog (Who was for once in her life doing as she was told!!) sat at my side calmly on a loose lead and for him to tell me what the hell was wrong with her. Along with some other things I dare not repeat!
At the end of my mad rant I thanked him very politely for the poop bag.
OH returned with a carrier bag and seemed very confused at to where the poop had gone and why I was spitting feathers.
I feel better now for getting that out!!
I often dole out poop bags to others, even if I feel they have no itention of picking up but I am never rude to them!
ARGHH! Can I just add - Mr Perfects dog was barking at everyone that walked past!
