Hi just thought people would like to see some ahem "interesting" X-Rays of my mare's front leg.
She had had this lump on her leg for a while (2+ years) it had never affacted her so we just left it.
5 weeks ago she went lame, got the vet out and this is wht the x-rays showed the lump to be, you can imagine our shock.

She had a steroid injection to try and encourage the bones to fuse so fingers xed that works :)

she already has arthritis but she was doing really well still jumping etc. However now she wont be able to jump again (which is a shame as she really loves it) but hopefully she will be a light hack after 3 months of box rest.

hope these images interest you
:)

I really hope that the box rest goes well and that you are able to bring her back into light work in the future. Good luck. :D

PS, thanks for sharing the x-rays.
