Just seen on the TV listings that tonight’s Repair Shop has a Texan side saddle. Should be interesting.

I assume it will be Suzy Fletcher working her magic.

A distant cousin (aged in his 90s) was on one of the earlier episodes with a Victorian kaleidoscope, which was given to him as a child by his mother while he was ill at home with diphtheria.

Suzie is a saddler & started her work in USA, it's the first Repair Shop saddle she's got to work on. Looked fabulous.

Also, did you know that Steve who does the watches etc is her brother?

She does but I think like said above it's usually very old leather shes working on which might be why? Suzie certainly knows her beans about saddlery so can't imagine she would use it if it wasn't the best thing for that particular type of leather
