The Rider suing dog owner on the beach case - what was the outcome?

This was the case that was being discussed a couple of months ago, about someone falling from a hired horse on a beach after the horse shied at a loose dog and ending up in a wheel chair, then suing the owner of the dog.
I have been away for a while and was wondering if it had concluded and what the outcome was?

I might be mistaken but I don't think there's been a judgement yet.

I don’t know, but we encountered an out of control Doberman on the beach the other day (complete with aggressive owner who thought his dog should be allowed to chase other users of the beach) and it made me remember that case! Luckily none of mine were overly bothered (including the ‘backed for two months’ 5 year old) but it could have been awful.
