The RIGHT way to rescue horses in Egypt

There is an amazing new group in Egypt called Continental Rescue & Rehab who are rescuing abused and neglected (severely emaciated) horses in Egypt, the providing the correct rehabilitation necessary (so easy to overfeed and cause a colic etc) and then find forever homes for these lovely horses. the homes are properly checked and a binding contract put in place, the horses come back to CRR should anything happen that the new 'owners' can no longer care for them.

HATS OFF to you all out there.
It takes a special sort of person to be able to do the work that is being done in Egypt.
Looks there like are many tears, but happiness too. Those horses that have been saved look more refreshed thah those still waiting.

Thank-you for sharing this. Had not realised just how bad things still are over there.

Very good work, but please tell me that the boys that appear to be intact are going to be gelded, and are separated from the mares because the last thing these poor things need is a pregnancy.
