The Royal Welsh Welsh Cob gelding class what happend?

I was just watching what i think was the Welsh D ridden Gelding class at the royal welsh on the tv (s4c rules). I wonder if anyone could shed any light on what just happend as i dont speak welsh and have never seen this before!

At the end of the class they called the first 4 forward and then handed out the rosetts then all of a sudden there was a flurry of activity, i heard what sounded like 'steward enquiry' from the tannoy in the backround then they took the rossettes back!!!!! then they pulled what appeard to be 4 different horses forward and gave them the rossettes!

Am so confused!! what happend???

Ooh, I have a friend who was riding in that class, she'll know.

I know the initially placed ones did stand to get thier rossettes because the poor riders had to give the rossetts back. The poor girl who origionally got first looked about ready to cry when she was asked to give it back.
