I bought a duo for my boy, but put it on the mare one day. Whilst she was wearing it (without the neck cover) the gelding pulled of the velcro bits which the neck cover attaches to. The Toad!
 
Sabotage = fail!

Though in his defence, you should really know better than to leave it within striking distance! I have learned this the hard way too. My friend even made the mistake of leaving her brand new saddle undefended against my 4yo :eek:.

My last pony used to pull her turnout down and sleep on it !
She always had a nice deep bed too. She came from living wild in the New Forest so I stabled her at night for her first winter. She knew what was best for her. LOVED her stable, HATED going out in rubbish weather, LOVED her rugs.:D

He deigned to move off the mud and snatch a mouthful of grass. But it's unlikely he'll move any further away from the gate :(.

TBF - just before I turned him out it was really pelting it down AND windy, so def rug weather for an old horse.....but as soon as I put him out it stopped raining :o

True - however he doesn't normally misbehave in this fashion - but I was a little late getting up today and I think he was annoyed :o
 
This made me LOL . . . KaliBear views most rugs as instruments of rebellion . . . if I leave them over his door he holds onto them with his teeth and shakes until they fall over the door. If he's feeling particularly playful, he pulls them INTO his stable and then wees and poos all over them. He'd much rather go out or be stabled naked . . . but he's fine coated and his field has very little shelter so he needs the protection in certain weathers.
