Following earlier post about saddles to fit TB's, I have decided to try a Saddle Company Saddle. My problem now is that I'm not sure whether to get the Event model or the Close Contact Jump. Could anyone who has either of these saddles be kind enough to explain to me what the knee blocks are like on the different models or even post some piccys of the underneath of the saddle flap so I can have a look? I can't find any photos on the internet and there are no stockists near me. Big thanks in advance!

The knee blocks on the two are fairly similar. They aren't overly large and are attached by velcro so you can choose where to put them. They both have thigh blocks as well.
I used to have a close contact one and I didn't like it very much. It was very flat and very forward cut. For anything other than jumping I used a seat bone saver as it was like sitting on a saucer. This is a common issue I've heard.
I now have an event saddle and it's fantastic!! It's great to jump in but also fine for everyday riding. I paid extra and got the suede seat and knees - well worth it as it gives you more grip. I've had a GP before too and I liked it. The event though, is actually comfier.
If you are a one saddle owner, get the event model. It's in the boot of my car at the moment, if I can find my camera I'll take some pics later for you.
