Hello

I was recomended by my vet to have my saddle checked by a master saddler - long story - my fiance recomened Andy Wheals/the saddle man

My vet said it would cost about £50 which i am quite happy to pay

But i am just wondering how much more would it cost for any of the following to be done

- tree adjusted
- re-flocking

mind has gone blank... um or anything else to be done to my saddle to stop my boys twitching/not wanting to take right canter lead and occasional flying changes with his back legs - only in canter - any ideas on prices???

p.s will be getting a physio - Emma Dainty - out soon just getting saddle done first :) actually if anyone knows how much does she charge call out fee?

HI Andy didn't charge me to check fit and do small amount of reflocking but Ihad originally bought the saddle off him the year before anyone for.my other horse the year before that. It was just the 50 call.out. he is very good. X
 
I personally would have the back person out first - if I go out to fit a horse that is really reactive like that I will usually ask them to have a physio/chiro etc out first - you can't saddle a horse that's NQR and you may find that there is something else going on, not just saddle. If that is the case they may recommend time off, and they could change shape, so making your just fitted saddle no longer perfect :).
