Hi there I want to order something from the website The Saddlery Shop but wanted to make sure they are good to deal with first.

If anyone could let me know good or bad reviews please. :-)

I've never had any problems with them. They were a big help when I first took my horses shoes off, recommending boots to try, sending out ones on hire etc until we finally found something that worked.

Only used them once, it took them over a week and multiple emails to find out that what I'd ordered wasn't in stock, and there was a month wait. I asked if they were willing to compensate, i.e. refund postage or similar. They said no. I cancelled the order, they apologised, refunded, and sent me a 15% off voucher via email as a "sorry"

Wasn't impressed.

I had some bad service from them also. I wanted to trial a pair of hoof boots as my horse was barefoot at the time. I only tried them on in the stable and it was obvious they were too small. In fact my horse never even put his foot down. I can't remember the ins and outs of it now as it was several years ago but under the terms and conditions, I had to pay something like 10-20 pounds to trial them. Anyway I returned them "as new" but they said they had been used and they only refunded me about half the cost. Wouldn't touch them with a bargepole.

Mixed experience. Brilliant a few years ago when I needed bit advice, hopeless now when I wanted boot advice. I don't know whether they have got too big and can't cope or what but I would hesitate to use them now.

Ummm mixed reviews but haven't been able to find the item anywhere else in the UK so I have ordered it, fingers crossed I won't have any problems. At least they do have some good feedback?!?!

Thanks for the replies. :-)

Ooh. That reminds me. I asked bitting advice last year, young cob who was proving a little strong in a regular snaffle. The only thing they could come up with was a pelham.

Saying that, most places have their share of good / bad, just keep an eye on dispatch and collar them if it seems to be taking too long.
