For the past couple of months I have been looking for someone to loan/buy for a nominal amount/part loan my 13 hand pony but I'm feeling very despondant.

It's not a simple task as the pony is 10 years old, quite sharp and not your average kids pony.

She went away to be broken and apparently was doing well before things went a bit pear shaped and we went to get her back.

All I've had is people wanting a bombproof pony for their kids but the advert clearly states that she isn't this and that I have not witnessed someone on her so I cannot say hand on heart that she is ok.

I don't know what else to try. The pony is great when led out in traffic, moves like a dream, jumps anything on the lunge and is lovely looking but in my opinion needs a small teen/adult to bring the best out of her.

I know she could carry on as a companion which is what she's done with us but I just think she has so much to give.

Would it be worth contacting local pony clubs at all or is this type of pony just not what people are after?

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.............

Perhaps advertise her as a project for someone to work with and then sell? Would she be suitable for that? I'm looking for something similar for this summer (although a little bigger as I'm too tall for a 13hh) to make a bit of money to go towards an actual proper horse for myself!
Contacting PC would definately be a good start though, you may find someone who will help you work with her if there isn't anyone looking to buy. Good luck with it xx

Try the local PC or RC you might find a more experienced rider, or at least someone that may no someone. I think shes too small for an adult so you are looking at a good child/teen.
