That winter is here! They have taken themselves into the area where their shelter is, away from the older horses. This is where we usually put them when the horses come in at night, it gives them plenty of shelter and they also get to tidy up the 'top' field, they have moved before the horses are coming in and are having to share the field with the two youngsters, who fortunately seem to have quite taken to them :)
We brought all the horses in at the same time this evening, for an hour or so to give them a rest from the rain, it was great to see how they all got on next door to each other :)
 
I just saw another thread title, something about worst weather for 100 years, I'm not even going to open it, I took the news about the sheep bad enough :D
 
*squints* are these the sheep in your sig? Are they wensleydales? Because if they are, they are utter nancies and live to be pampered! Ours are still out in the middle of a windswept marsh and will stay that way! huh!
 
The sheep in the sig are Rylands, but sadly they are no longer with us, last one died aged 12. The current lot are Texel crosses, but were hand reared and there are only three of them, very spoilt diva sheep :D
