The shoe fairy has been

Gin went out last night with 4 shoes and came in this morning with 1!

I cant believe it, I went to find the shoes and couldnt find them anywhere.
Am very stressed and to top it all off my farrier is in a foul mood

so not looking forward to telling him.

I have no idea, she never loses shoes

Always happens horse loses shoe/s, search field cant find them, call farrier he fits new shoe/s, next day find all shoes in field

that happened to me the other day horse not only lost shoe but pulled a load of hoof away too got his new shoe put back on went down the field later that day found the shoe in a tree!!

god i thought it was just me that has bad look with horse shoes.
every time i manage to get 4 shoes on 1 of mine he'll lose another.
i've rode him 4 times in the past 6 weeks and had to have the farrier out 3 times to replace the lost ones. i wouldn't mind so much if i could get the farrier out in less than a fortnight.
anybody else have to wait 2 weeks to have a shoe put back on?
theres only 2 farriers that will shoe in our area and hes the better of the 2 i wouldn't mind so much if you could book him in advance but you cant as hes really busy.
never had this problem before with other farriers though would just book them to come ever 6 weeks and then ring if needed in between.
