erm what? when did it go away then? /we are still knee deep at the stables and have been for 5-6 weeks with a four day thaw in the middle. we are really hoping for the bins to be emptied tommorow as that s been six weeks now.

Please no, no , NO! Ours is just starting to thaw and I am two days into clearing manure that has been lying covered for weeks.

We completely thawed 2 days ago and yes I have just got on top of the corral but I have given up on poo picking the paddock - I have resigned myself it will have to be harrowed in the spring and I will take samples more often.

On the plus side isn't snow rich in nitrogen so will make the grass grow when spring eventually arrives?
