We took the Spangle Massive to Holkham on NYD so puppy could have her first paddle and the likes...

She's grown so much! She's 4 months old now :)

"Mummy! Dad! Wait for meee!"

She was entirely unconvinced by the sea...

But not surprising, as her mother has never voluntarily gone any deeper than paw-height before!

Her father demonstrated his coolest moves!

And she demonstrated the best of Spangle intelligence with several head on collisions!

It was a great day, can't believe that this time last year Bertie was her age and now he's her father... Jeremy Kyle right there in Norfolk :D

Hope you liked them! We also got puppy updates over Christmas saying how sweet, trainable, amenable and generally lovely the puppies were being. It makes you wonder how we ended up with the madam of the litter, who is the most confident and cocky thing on 4 legs! She's got a proper swagger to her walk!

What fabulous pics - they are having the best time!
I have a 5 month old springer who was equally unimpressed by the sea at Woolacombe this new year. Mind you, it was so incredibly windy, the waves were massive - they must have been like a tsunami to a little pup!
I can also sympathise with you (or congratulate you:p) in having the little madam of the litter - we have one of those:D

No nudists. A horde of collies though, who were all supremely friendly so terrified Bertie witless (not that he had many wits to start with!).

It's such a beautiful place, we're so lucky to live so close by. And puppy is very cute but also such a princess! It's her way or the highway it seems, no matter how many pegs her parents take her down. She's also obsessed with food, which is surprising as neither of her parents are motivated by it at all. Love her though, she's very cuddle-able!

I took my mum up to Holkam last year with her spangle and my Poodle x (think it the other bit is Bedlington, long story). Sadly he was PTS two weeks ago with non operable cancer at just 2 and 1/2 years old. I have just found her a lovely working Cocker pup, so we'll be back there when he is ready to go out in public!
