According to reports on FB, the remaining pony in the same field as 'Carrot' and 'Spud' is still stressed from having the two neglect cases removed and the miniature which also resided in the field. Is this lonely little pony now also 'suffering' in the eyes of the Welfare Act?

The shetland by all accounts belonged to someone different to Carrot and Spud - the minature had only been there for 24 hours before they were removed. The RSPCA and BHS Welfare officers will be monitoring the shetland as apart from being porky he is in good health.

Aye, I sort of gathered that, but he is on his own now and did have his companions removed rather abruptly!
