Hunting report from this morning :) if you have been following my posts you will know that we haven't been getting on recently, dressage has driven her crazy so been hacking, jumping all week :) she has chilled out loads. Two weeks ago she was dangerous to hack, bucking, jumping, rearing really really hype etc.....was considering selling her a week ago.

Up at 415am sharp and down to the yard for 445am. Breakfast served to the stressy one, quick groom in the dark, tacked up and ready to go. In the rain :( After half hour arrived there, opened back of the trailer and the back bar across her bottom was off, cue oh the wind on my bottom!! she backed herself out before friend had chance to open the jockey door, she busted her head collar and then ran back, luckily her legs where well padded and all was fine when she came out :)
She seemed nice and chilled so after finding a kind man to hold her i fetched off her boots and put her others on, she stood very still and quiet :) got on board, by this point my friend was a little ahead of me, and a few yards down the lane there was about 20 horses trotting up to a field. We trotted along in a very steady and calm mannor! could'nt believe how chilled she was! caught up friend aka normal, sensible, lovely horse and very calming hacking partner - her horse was quivering and really really excited. The stressy one was so chilled even when we caught them all up and had a nice stretchy canter across a huge open field, had a nice collected, very controllable chilled out TB!!!
There was alot of standing about and we had a few more stetches of canter. The only time where the stressy one got worked up was when all horses went for a gallop, even then it was a buck and thats it. Very controllable, even though she felt a tad stronger than normal she was still super responsive. We had a little strop over a ditch, she leapt over it but was expecting it so sat right back :P
All in all we had a fab time, she did'nt do anything horrible and was very relaxed.
Stressy TB? what stressy TB!!!!
Shes now a very tired yawning girl and now enjoying the rest of the afternoon munching grass :)
Gentle road walk tomorrow, day off monday, hacking through week and xc schooling friday :)

CS would 100% definately smear me across the road if i went cubbing!

I was soooo nervous, convinced that something like the above would happen!! glad i went though :)
Meant to be having a dressage lesson on wed, not sure to give it a miss for another week, give her a good break from schooling to see if it makes a difference?
