Yes, I'm on the yard by 6.30am every morning, give my mare a quick feed, skip out (do proper muck out at weekends) then plenty of time to ride before work and she's in the field before 8am. She gets a nice long day in the field, I turn up for work in a good mood and hopefully not smelling too horsey. In the evening I fill haynets, make feeds and poo pick in the dark, and brush the worst muddy bits off her so she's clean enough in the morning to tack up and go.
Wouldn't miss my early morning rides for the world.
I manage to ride after work until the clocks go back. From there on I either ride in the dark or put the floodlights on. I actually don't mind hacking in the dark, quite fun.
I work 3 long days a week so can fit in around 4 days of riding a week. The days I work vary from week to week fortuantely. Doesnt men to say I always do that amount of riding thought lol.
