The 'supposed suspicious black izusu'

Now there me thinking these text messages must be a load of rubbish ie someone having a laugh making up cars and plates etc. I got a text last night saying look for black izusu plate yto6 fsy. Thought nothing more of it. Just another spammy text.

As yet I havent done anything! Its really wierd.......was sat on the a64 behind this black 4x4 thinking I know that number from somewhere. As I was driving I couldn't check the message on my phone with the number on but did so as soon as I got in and its the same one. Really did spook me out.

and theres me mouthing off this morning about spammy text messages

fair enough I was only driving behind him but I just thought these plates and cars would be all made up ones

Either that or they are genuine or someone is spreading defamatory texts about someone they dont like? Who knows

Do you think I ought to call the local police to say I've seen the car in the area? Not sure what to do really!

my thoughts exactly! what a way to get at somone you dont like eh? Just very wierd coincidence I got the text last night and ended up driving behind the car in question today!

Felt a right numpty but have just reported my sighting of the vehicle to the police. They said I had done exactly the right thing as the car in question is one they are interested in and have taken the time and area I saw it. I did ask wether these text messages are a load of rubbish and they said in this case no. Its better to be safe than sorry.
