The The Keen Foxhunters Miscellany by Peter Holt and Published by Quiller Publishing Ltd in 2010.

The Dedication by the author is as follows: "For my dear lady wife whose name escapes me..."

This is the most up to date book to be published in contemporary times full of the most facinating information about hunting.

Anybody who hunts should have a copy, indeed I would describe the book as the latter day hunting bible, along with Baileys.

A must for young and those of maturer years.

It has spendid pieces about Master, Ronnie Wallace, Otis Ferry to name but a few, along with all sorts of hunting tales. Plus some interesting comments on dress code. Serious advice on a host of hunting subjects.

Peter Holt is a former Fleet Street gossip columnist who spent much of his career writing a pop music column for The London Evening Standard during the 1980's. He lives in Shropshire. :D

PS. Has anybody else on this forum read the book and what did they think?

Bought one for my OH and one for my father and they have been glued to it since Christmas day. Did get a quick glance at it while wrapping and am looking forward to reading it.
