My friend had just got back from being away for three days at a big show. She walked out of the tack room to find her 6 & 8yr girls old doing workouts on their feet - at least they must enjoy going to sows and don't rush indoors to watch TV when they get home.

At Horse of the Year I cycled past three little girls - around 8 - 9yrs and they were playing 'presenting the awards'

Just have to love their enjoyment of their ponies

Lol, mines 7 & does similar stuff. Her & her friend play horses all the time. They play shows too, one is the judge & the other does a display, with or without pony, & instructors is a favourite too, badminton- one is the horse & the other has a microphone as commentator. And loads of others.
Age 2 mine used to insist on wearing a pair of brushing boots, till we figured out she wanted chaps like the older girls. And when we saw rocking horses etc in shops with 'do not get on signs' she used to ask if they had laminitis! Also goes through pony mag doing cc on the riders & ponys too. Eg of course the pony has its head up, look where her hands are!

Ha ha at the CC thats ace!

My best friend and I ran a riding school from my bedroom :D the back gardern was a school.

I seem to remember a certain amount of equestrian politics between us even then!
