I have, in my infinite wisdom, signed up for Marcothon 2015 - that is, I shall be running a minimum of 3 miles or for 25 minutes every day of December......that is EVERY day, including Christmas Day......no exceptions, and dog walking doesn't count as it has to be a proper run :D

In order that someone might benefit from my pain and exhaustion :p I have decided to try and fund-raise for Evesham Greyhound and Lurcher Rescue (www.lurcher.org.uk) who do such valuable work re-homing lurchers and greyhounds that have been abandoned or handed in, often with appalling physical and psychological trauma.

If anyone can see their way to sponsoring me I would be hugely grateful - I know very well that times are hard, but all I can say is that every penny helps, honestly :)

I do agree that I am totally mad - I shall be doing it for Albert (see webpage) who I would rehome in an instant if I was allowed 5 dogs

Albert is also making me do some soul searching....... I don't think I can have 5 and I think Song and Alfie would be too much for an old boy looking for a quiet life.
At least he's in a foster home and not kennels...... (trying to convince myself....)

You see I don't have that argument to fall back on, Islay is 12, Hoover & Flick are 9 and Amy is about 8 so all in their later years? Well supposedly, you wouldn't think so sometimes.....

Albert is a dear boy, I do hope he finds someone soon :(

I am actually quite looking forward to the challenge, which makes me even more mad I'm sure :D I'm sorry to trade on all your good will, but please please please can you spare a few pennies to sponsor me, there are some gorgeous hounds in rescue who deserve your support :) xx
