I have to hold Lily's bowl for her while she eats or she won't touch it. I suspect I've made a rod for my own back, the rest of the yard thinks I've gone soft!

Anyone else who is normally sane find themself pandering to their horse?

My yearling is addicated to being groomed............quite obsessed, he expects it everyday otherwise he bangs the door if he thinks I am leaving the yard.

He loves his ears being combed inside and out.........weird!!

Mini TX's mare loves her chin being tickled. She will put her head up over the stable door so that you get it just right for a good old tickle.

The filly and the broody mare like to have the sides of their tails scratched. Underneath. It looks quite dodgy if anyone sees me doing it, but they really do love it so much that they have to have a scratch a day. :D

Haha... I thought it was just me that had to deal with 'I'm not going to eat unless mummy holds my bowl' ;) Kind of awkward isn't it?
Same horse also insist a good itch every night, but seems to think I'm incapable of doing it properly! He 'shows' me where it itches, and gives itchy place a very half hearted itch as if to start me off! And to top it off... He always looks incredibly insulted if I do the same area for too long! The cheek of it! :D

My Highland loves a scratch on the bottom and will present her rear to you at every opportunity. If you 're grooming her and she's not tied up she will keep moving round so her quarters are in line with the brush - she's quite expert at it! I just love the gooey look on her face when I oblige. She has trained me well!

Seren likes to lick...anything....if there isnt a convienient car she will lick your coat, legs, wellys, head....she really doesnt mind!!! Mels 'laughs' (wickers) at everything, if laughing doesnt bring attention/recognition she clangs something....she also insists on a different colour net each day - ie I cant put tomorrows hay into the red net she has had today, but she will have the red net again on fri....I cant explain it and it seems stupid, but its totally true!!

My new filly (found out shes only three this time not four!) backs onto me if I am poo picking for a scatch and if I dont she just keeps backing up and scratches on me anyway!!!! If I tell her no she throws a strop hehehe.
