The time is rapidly coming when I'll have to advertise the boys for sale so can anyone point me in the right direction for adverts for youngsters please?

Freddy and Harry (the foster boys who you might have seen on here since they came to me at a fortnight old) will be three in March so time for them to move on now. Both TB x cob that should make nice all rounders or hunters with, in Harry's case, a bit of showing thrown in; they'll both be around the 16 hands mark, more ISH types than cobs.
Tonka is coming two, a nice SHP type to make about 15 hands.
They could all go on to far better things that I would only dream of; I say I'll do something then chicken out at the last minute; I'm actually amazed I got around to grading Freda last year! Besides, OH has just taken delivery of 3 Hereford heifers so he's squeezing me out of room which is another problem!

Point is, where best to advertise them please, is there a 'best' place for youngsters? Also, does it really matter that the only facilities I have is a muddy field (it will dry up - about May!) they are unbroken youngsters after all so can't be lunged or anything?
If I'm looking, although I look on the free sites, it puts me off to see the same horse on so many different sites, makes me think the owner's desperate and doesn't mind too much which market they go for although I know that's the wrong assumption about many owners to make so with that in mind, I'd like to be a bit selective which sites I use.

Next thing, of course, I'll be asking for help with the adverts! :)

If they're quality youngsters I would actually put them in H&H. If you've got something worth reasonable money then it's probably worth spending on advertising.

And if they're unbroken I would think people will only want to see them run up in hand to check they're straight. We tried to chase my filly up in the field to see how she moved but she just kept walking off and refused to play ball so I gave up! If your field is dry enough for that I would think it wouldn't be a problem.

I don't think I've ever seen a picture of them? Can you post one for my nosey self?

Haven't any this year yet, these are from last year; you can't actually see them just now because they think they are hippos and wallow - lots!

Dragon Driving - £5 for as long as it takes for the animal to sell - I sold my filly on there in 24 hours!

Thanks for that; that's one I've never thought of.

Sorry Mrs M, only just seen this.

Well, Harry was meant to be a show cob only nobody told him so he's grown rather too elegant and tall for that job now - no spotty botty though he does have flecking on one leg!

I want Freddy!!
Bought my youngster (in the picture) through Horsemart, enquired about a different one that had been sold but she told me about Rocky and I fell in love! he is Welsh cob x TB as well, think they would make a lovely pair but my OH may well object :(

No, not a spotty bot, but I do likes :D :D :D

*counts how many horses one already has, counts how much land/stables - sulks and backs away from the thread*

Ho hum.

Oh go on MrsM, one can always squeeze another in - I just have (although she's turned out to be a BOGOF which will be interesting)!

Lol, I would if it were my land, but the YO has already accepted us having a fourth horse on land she normally only has three max on (there is enough land for four, she just prefers to keep the numbers down).

If this house ever sells! I'll be back to see if Harry is still around :D
