I’m not sure I’ve ever known him sick or sorry, my mum just reminded me he was sick one day as a puppy but he’s usually a bouncing ball of energy.
This morning he seemed fine, ate breakfast with the usual Labrador enthusiasm, came out as usual to do horses. Came back in and threw up 3 times in the space of 5 minutes.
I went to work for 2 hours and my usual greeting is crazy excitement but instead I had the above, no one at the door and a little tail quiver and roll to show his tummy on the sofa.
Tried to take him out but he came back inside within minutes, VERY unlike him.

So currently this is him…. Sad, sleepy and shivery. Wrapped up like a little baby and tolerating it.
I’m not doing a vet panic yet! If it were one of the others I’d not think too much of it it’s just he’s usually the life and soul.
My poor tiny dog.

And tonight of course he’s wild! He needs a decent walk and is out with me a lot during the day so after a whole morning in bed, and a quiet day he has energy to burn!

Reminded me of my sister when she was little, desperately sick, then as we got to the Dr surgery (no mean feat as my mum had no car so involved buses and walking) she would suddenly be absolutely fine and excited to play with the waiting room toys ?

Anyhow a huge massive relief, he’s not one for eating dead things but you never know what they may come across. I’ve never seen a dog go from so sad to “?ping ?” like that before!
