As of 22/07/08 Dow have removed Aminopyralid containing products ( Forefront/Pharoah/Banish) from the UK market. This seems to have been due to a few people not following the recommendations and using non organic manure byproducts as organic.
All I can say is, what a shame! The first product we have had that effectively controls Ragwort, Buttercups, plantain, all thistles, docks, nettles etc in one hit. I have found less than 1% survival rate on treated ground. The one product that we had to control toxic weeds such as ragwort and buttercups from grazing and mowing has been taken away from us. There are no effects on mammals shown and the active has been in general use in th US for many years. Does anyone think Dow would risk there being any possible side effects in such an environment as the US courts? I think not.
