I often wonder why horses do some of the things they do. A lot of it can be explained. But do you have anything that your horse does and you don't know why.

For example: They leave some hay behind in the stable (because there must be something wrong with it so they don't eat it) but yet when you put it into the wheelbarrow, they want to eat it.

when ted is eating his hard feed he stands on three legs and wibbles the forth in the air lol..

He goes crackers when he sees you in the morning and sounds like an astmatic donkey.

If I go to my horse while he's stood at the field gate, and I'm wearing a bracelet, he goes a bit mad at it, whickering, trying to bite it off and scrunching his nose up as if it smells funny, but he never does it when we're in the stable or anywhere else ?!!

Occassionally, when we go out for a ride he whinnies his head off and I have no idea why?!

Bill does the same thing with his legs when feeding, alternates between his two front legs and waves them about with his head firmly in his bucket! You can count down from 10 when you put the bucket down and one leg will be up before you get to 1!

always teds off fore.. which is good at the moment as he has done the tendon on it so least he's not bearing to much on it hen he's doing his jig

The other thing is he hit his poll badly about 3 years ago and had nerve damage which made half of his nose and lip droopy it has perked up a bit over time but you would think that would make him more cautious of where he put his head, but honestly he bangs it in to all sorts, hedges, posts, walls. No regard for his own bony nonce!

My 20yr old welsh sec A hurls himself on the ground if you don`t get him in from the field quick enough! It`s almost like a child throwing a hissy fit

My horse wont eat some off his hay off the floor or a bit a the bottom of his net. Every night there is about an inch in the bottom section he turns his nose up at but take him out on the yard hell find a few dregs about and chomps on it like hes never been fed before. My horse is weird to as he follows me round the stable with his bottom untill I have scratch his sheath to his satisfaction. He lifts one of his back legs up for me for easier action lol!

My horse, Sid, the past year has taken too chewing the string/baling twine when he's tied up not pulling to get away he just stands there and chews it...he is a bit random x

My horse Jerry will put his head over the stable door and cross his jaw from side to side and wiggle his tongue around when he is waiting for his dinner. It is so comical - I must video him and show you all!
