This is what met me before he was put to bed, now is he please to see me or scared that he might be next on the BBQ ? :)

Or judging by his tummy has he raided the BBQ ?

Judging by the expression, i'd say the latter :D Either that or he has discovered his refelction in the bbq :)

Thread hijacking a little...I remember chatting to you about confidence a while back, how are you feeling now?

:D like the seeing his own reflection comment ,

Still nervous, but have a viewing on Thursday, have said I probably won't ride at the first viewing, will just watch, I know I can, have the rosettes to prove it, but just want to take a step back and watch her first, then if I am happy, will to back and ride, owners are happy with that , so fingers crossed I can slap myself before then :) thank you for asking x

Ps how are you going? X

Oh how exciting!! Sounds like a perfect way of doing things if that's what will make you feel happier about the situation :)

I'm not bad at all thanks :) still pottering on with the neds. I'm still toying with buying a youngster to bring on for myself, but got to get the OH on side first

I know the OH feeling, tbh that is what will probably put a spanner in the works :(

My OH is the reason I want a new one, because he seems to have adopted ownership of my mare (who ironically, seems to love him a lot more than she loves me!)

Hope you manage to get your OH to agree :) I'm sure a little light persuasion will help :)

I wasn't going to comment on weight, I'm sure you have it covered :) x

In our house, horses hero worship my OH, despite him not treating with anything other than a pat or rub, my doing all the day to day care.
HOWEVER, his new mare prefers me, she calls to me and walks past my OH to say hello, I love it.
Re your confidence, when we viewed my boy I couldn't ride because of a damaged knee, OH tried him instead, but to be honest I was glad, because it meant I could try him in my own time when I wasn't excited or nervous

Sherbert is imaginary friend I imagined for the caption.... :D

Always wanted a Shetland called sherbert................
