The photos I saw before going showed quite a nice quallity looking little cob.Showed instructor and told her what I had been told about her.She said she was worth viewing.Got there.She was quite common with a very short neck.She nose poked because of her conformation bless her.Her walk was active but it was all downhill after that.She was hard work to get into trot and impossible to get into canter. There were other things as well.I do not feel that this was an honest sale.

It didn’t sound the most honest sale after reading your thread this morning. I really hoped that it would turn out well for you, sorry it didn’t.
A massive well done for walking away though, it would have been very easy to think “well we are here now with transport so will give it a go”

They all look and sound perfect in the adverts, more often than not you're likely to get there and find reasons to be disappointed, IMHO.

Just look at it as needing to kiss some frogs...

I had a bit of free time yesterday and was looking at horses for sale and read 3 adverts for 3 different horses but other than name, age and size, they were all exactly the same advert for each. Its lazy and feels dodgy ??‍ And a shame on the horse not to deserve a personalised advert.

I've seen horse prices on FB listed in ?s, with each ? being £1000, to get around the no selling of animals rule.

So for a £4000 equine the seller is asking for four ?s.

This one really is a super cob , he’s at my yard and everything the advert says he is , he’s forward going so not suitable for someone nervous or too novice, buts he’s safe and a fabulous fun horse.
