The weather is a pain

The weather is a pain, although it is gorgeous and sunny!!!

cos the temps are holding up till way after dark and then dropping off cold its hard to judge the right time to put the rug on......i'm scared of the dark which doesn't help and tonight I wanna watch the x factor and yard is 20mins away so how am I gonna do it all at the right time....arrrgggghhhh

Leave them naked - i have just finished riding mine - washed him off and chucked him out naked!! Of course being grey he is now wearing a mud rug......

Don't rug - simples.

It is warm during the day, and v dry at night. Horses hate cold and wet but cope exceedingly well with cold and dry, and my TB certainly isn't being rugged yet.

Leave naked!!!!

I rode my TB tonight and sponged his sweaty bits then turfed out naked. First night for ages he's been naked but it is way too warm just now to put a rug on.

A couple of hours in the cold won't do him any harm.

Horses, by nature, are designed to cope with this. leave him naked!
