I think the latter two questions are always going to come down to personal preference and whether the saddle is well fitted. Some people prefer Western saddles while others really dislike them, but any horse is going to benefit from a well fitted saddle, whether it's Western or English.
I'm aware that there has been some discussion on here over the past few years about Maria and her saddle fitting, but personally I have only bought treeless pads from her (she's a distributor for Edix) so can't comment on that. FWIW I did find her pretty easy to deal with and when one of the pads arrived from Europe with a manufacturing fault, she and Eden were very good and sorted it all out for me in a satisfactory manner. Have you tried searching the forum for her name and business name?
