The Whole Family have been charged....

'The maximum sentence for each of the charges is six months in prison or a £20,000 fine.'

Hardly justice is it!

Yeah well we all know who must of shot you down and they only had the odd one or two in their posse, everyone else would of trusted your word over theirs believe me!

Lets hope it is a 20k fine for each offence, should take care of his property for him!! PW, told you to have faith, and that most were supportive, we are not all the idiots some believed us to be. I reckon after the verdict (providing it is guilty of course!) you will be owed some major apologies - wonder if they will have the guts to do so!!

good - charges well deserved for all of them

news said that there will be a court appearance 'later this month'

I will be there !!!!!

Aas I said on the other thread, don't celebrate prematurely. Charges may have been laid but he has yet to be found guilty in a court of law.

I am very glad charges have been laid and I hope a guilty verdict - if warrented - is handed down and suitable punishment to accompany it.

Incidentally where is MyJack??

good - they all watched those horses get into the state they were in so they all deserve a punishment.

[/ QUOTE ]
They not only watched it,they would come with him to market and the younger daughter has been VERY INVOLVED in the "family business"

Yes i know that you did and i thank you for that and an appology is not necessary,it was all just very frustrating that when ever i tried to put a valid point across she jumped on me.but there is now peace on this forum and we can now discuss this case as adults with one thing in common which is love and welfare for horses
laugh.gif

Long as the whole family get what they deserve and even though we should NOT compare cases but if you all think back over the past 2 weeks and those succesfully prosecuted cases it does give me a small glimse of hope that justice for those poor horses and donkeys will be done

which family members are you saying went to market with him?

I am soooooooooooo looking forward to this case going to court.

MYJACK is back everybody,it has been a very nice forum up until now with Myjack only lurking and waiting in the shadows but is now coming back out to stir things up again...Dont let history reperat itself, dont quote or respond to myjacks posts

Actually paddywhack, I'll respond to whom I please - this is an open forum

but to respond to the OP, of course the entire family must be prosecuted, can you imagine if only one or two were found guilty and prohibited from keeping horses, they would just claim that any horses at the farm belong to their wife/son/daughter/whatever - which is the usual situation.

For whoever the idiot is who hopes that somebody bumps them/him off before the case - welfare campaigns don't need people like you.

And paddywhack - you plan to be at the Court -why? What can you acheive that would not be disruptive and potentially play into the hands of the defence?

Sorry if you missunderstood me Mother Hen,i re-read that and it did sound agressive, and i am not an agressive person but i will NOT be verbally distruptive in any way, shape or form at court, but i will be there as a silent protester and supporter for those poor horses
And yes my appologies ..you are right it is a open forum and we are allowed to respond to any post that we wish to

Excellent, if they dont get the maximums then Im not sure how much worse people could be to get them!

6 months in prison is a joke though. Surely the amount of horses concerned means they should get more than that? I bet they wont be banned from keeping animals for life either (probably only horses for a few years). IMO people like this should never own ANY animal ever again.

IF they are found guilty i cant see them ever be allowed to own animals again(just look at recent cases and this case is HUGE) which means that their dogs will also be removed from their care

Yes 6 months is a joke BUT think of all the animal lovers in prison they will get whats coming to them either way i think, long as its NOT before it goes to trials !!!!!I want them in that dock named, shamed and spat on !!

Paddywhack, you are very malicious about this. Just remember that currently no one has been found guilty of anything at this point in time. So dont go blowing your trumpet YET.

There are pictures of the state of some of the horses which were taken from JAMIE GREY's FARM!!!!!!

How can you dream of calling Paddywack 'very malicious' when she is obviously upset, as many of us are, about a horrible evil man and his family who lived amoungst this suffering of over 100 horses....thats malicious....to live amoungst the suffering of those poor animals and do nothing what so ever about it dont, you think.
